Divide the dough into pieces and flatten them. Place some filling in the center of each piece, pleat the edges, and pinch to seal.
Place the buns on parchment paper in a steamer. Steam over medium heat for 15 to 18 minutes.
Serve hot.
Uncooked shaped buns can be frozen for up to 2 months and steamed from frozen. Store cooked buns in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
