Calzone is an Italian folded pizza dough filled with mozzarella and mushrooms, sealed into a half-moon shape, and baked. Unlike an open pizza, its sealed crust keeps the cheese melted inside.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Let the dough rise

45 min

Knead the flour, yeast, warm water, olive oil, sugar, and salt together. Let the dough rise until doubled in size.

2

Make the filling

10 min

Sauté the mushrooms, then mix them with the mozzarella, tomato sauce, and thyme.

3

Shape and fill

10 min

Roll the dough into circles. Place some filling on one half of each, then fold over and seal into a half-moon shape.

4

Bake

20 min

Brush the tops with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven until golden brown.

Reminder

Important: Press the edges firmly with a fork to seal the dough, or the cheese may leak out during baking. Allergens: Contains wheat (gluten) and dairy.

Bekletme süresini kısalttım, yine de güzel açıldı. Ölçüleri gram cinsinden verseniz daha net olur, bardak ölçüsü bende farklı çıktı. Ocak ayarını orta-kısıkta tutunca yanma olmadı.
