These oatmeal cookies are made with dried cranberries, a favorite during Canadian winters. Mix the oats with cinnamon and add dried cranberry pieces for a treat that can be packed in school lunches.

How to make it?

Beat the butter and sugar

Beat the softened butter with the brown sugar for 4 minutes, until creamy. Add the egg and mix.

Add the dry ingredients

Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt and mix. Fold in the oats and dried cranberries.

Arrange on a baking sheet

Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them apart. Press gently to flatten.

Bake

Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C / 355°F for 15 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned. Let the cookies firm up on the baking sheet for 10 minutes.

Important: The cookies may look soft when you take them out of the oven; do not touch them. Let them firm up on the baking sheet for 10 minutes. Contains gluten (oats) and dairy (butter).
