This nonalcoholic version of Canada’s famous cocktail is made by freshly squeezing and straining tomatoes. For a clear tomato juice, let the sediment settle to the bottom. The result is a spiced drink garnished with a celery stalk.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Juice the Tomatoes

20 min

Grate the tomatoes and strain them through a sieve to separate the pulp.

2

Let It Rest

30 min

Refrigerate the strained tomato juice for 30 minutes and let the sediment settle to the bottom.

3

Season

8 min

Transfer the clear liquid from the top to a separate pitcher. Add the Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, lemon juice, and salt, then stir.

4

Serve

5 min

Pour into glasses with ice and garnish with a celery stalk.

Reminder

Do not skip the step of letting the sediment settle; otherwise, the drink will be cloudy and pulpy. Allergen: Worcestershire sauce may contain trace amounts of fish.

Dinlendirme adımını 30 dakika yerine 10 dakikada geçtim, üstteki kısmı ayırdığımda hâlâ lifli ve bulanıktı. İkinci denemede tarifteki 30 dakikayı uygulayınca gerçekten berrak bir içecek çıktı.
