Rinse the liver and remove its membranes. Chop the carrot.
Baby food recipes
A hearty, iron-rich baby puree made with boiled chicken liver and carrot. It is a nourishing main meal for babies beginning to try a variety of organ meats from the eighth month onward.
How to make it?
Simmer both in a little water until the liver is thoroughly cooked.
Blend with some of the cooking liquid until smooth.
Reminder
Important: Do not use salt or spices in baby food. Make sure the liver is thoroughly cooked and its membranes are removed. Introduce new foods one at a time and watch for signs of an allergic reaction. Ask your pediatrician about feeding routines and frequency. Serve the puree the same day or freeze it in individual portions.
