Pizza and Turkish flatbreads
A rich Italian pizza topped with mozzarella, kashar cheese (Turkish semi-hard cheese), Gorgonzola, and Parmesan. Their different textures melt together in a balanced mix of creamy and sharp flavors.
Add the yeast to the lukewarm water. Add the olive oil, flour, and salt, and knead into an elastic dough. Cover and let it rise for 45 minutes.
Roll the risen dough into a circle, leaving the edges thicker. Spread a thin layer of strained tomatoes over the center.
Spread the mozzarella, kashar cheese, Gorgonzola, and Parmesan evenly over the dough. Add the thyme.
Bake in a preheated 250°C / 480°F oven for 12–15 minutes, until the cheeses have melted and the edges are browned.
Slice the pizza as soon as it comes out of the oven and serve hot.
Use small amounts of sharp cheeses such as Gorgonzola, or they may overpower the other cheeses. Allergens: contains wheat (gluten) and dairy.
