Freshly squeezed from ripe pomegranates, this natural fruit juice has a balanced sweet-and-tart flavor. Serve it at breakfast or as a snack for a simple drink with no additives.
Cut the pomegranates in half and remove the seeds into a bowl. Pick out as much of the white membrane as possible.
Juice the pomegranate seeds with a citrus juicer or press them with a grater, then strain the juice through a fine-mesh strainer to remove the pulp.
Important: When juicing the pomegranates, keep the peel and inner membranes out of the juice, as they can make it taste bitter. Caution: Pomegranate juice stains clothing easily, so wearing an apron while juicing is a good idea.
