Inspired by the tradition of serving grilled fruit as a lighter, sweeter part of a British breakfast, this plate pairs halved peaches brushed with honey and caramelized on the grill with fresh blackberries and cream cheese. The honey lightly glazes the fruit, while its own sweetness remains the focus.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the peaches

5 min

Brush the cut sides of the halved peaches with honey and cinnamon, then leave them undisturbed for a few minutes.

2

Caramelize on the grill

5 min

Place the peaches cut-side down on a thoroughly heated grill and cook for 3–4 minutes, until dark grill marks appear.

3

Cook the other side

3 min

Turn the peaches and grill them skin-side down for a further 3 minutes to soften, then remove them from the grill.

4

Plate and serve

5 min

Arrange the grilled peaches on a plate and place a spoonful of cream cheese in the center of each one. Garnish with fresh blackberries and mint leaves, then serve.

Reminder

Heat the grill thoroughly before adding the peaches; fruit placed on a cold grill will stick and tear its skin. Allergen: contains milk and dairy products.

Izgaram yeterince ısınmadan şeftalileri koymuşum, kesik yüzeyleri yapışıp koparken biraz dağıldı. Isıyı iyice yükseltip iki dakika daha bekleyince ikinci turda hiç sorun kalmadı, kenarları güzelce karamelize oldu.
