Marinate the fish

A simple, healthy seafood classic: whole sea bass grilled with lemon and olive oil. Lightly browned outside and juicy inside, it makes an easy dinner served with seasonal greens and lemon.
Rub the cleaned sea bass with the olive oil, salt, black pepper, thyme, and the juice of half a lemon. Let stand for 10 minutes.
Heat the grill or a cast-iron skillet thoroughly; a drop of water should evaporate immediately on the surface.
Place the sea bass on the grill and cook each side over medium-high heat until the skin is browned. Caution: Do not turn the fish until the skin releases on its own, or it may break apart.
Transfer the cooked fish to a serving platter, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve with lemon slices.
Important: Heat the grill thoroughly so the fish skin does not stick, and do not turn the fish too soon. When the skin releases easily on its own, it is ready to turn. Sea bass is cooked when the flesh turns opaque and flakes easily from the bones; avoid overcooking. Contains fish. Check packaged ingredients for other allergens.
