A breakfast and beachside favorite in Brazil, acai is blended with frozen acai puree and banana, then frozen again to make a rich, velvety ice cream. Serving it in a bowl topped with granola and fresh fruit is the Brazilian signature.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Blend the Fruit

5 min

Blend the frozen acai puree, frozen banana, and almond milk until smooth.

2

Freeze the Mixture

120 min

Transfer the mixture to a covered container and freeze for at least 2 hours. During the first 1 hour, stir it 1 time with a fork for an even texture.

3

Serve

5 min

Spoon the firm acai ice cream into bowls, top with granola and fresh fruit, and serve.

Reminder

If the ice cream freezes too hard, let it soften on the counter for 10 minutes before serving. Allergen: contains tree nuts (almonds). Additional allergen check: Check the product label for gluten statements for granola; ingredients may vary by product.
