Inspired by Irish meat-stew traditions, this recipe wraps ground meat, diced potatoes and thyme in puff pastry. The hand pies crisp up quickly in an air fryer, making them an ideal quick snack.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the filling

8 min

Sauté the onion in oil until golden. Add the ground meat and cook until it changes color. Stir in the boiled potato cubes, thyme, salt and black pepper, then cook for another 5 minutes, stirring.

2

Shape the pies

7 min

Cut the puff pastry into squares and place some filling in the center of each. Fold each into a triangle or rectangle, press the edges closed with a fork, and brush with beaten egg.

3

Cook in the air fryer

12 min

Arrange the pies on parchment paper in the air-fryer basket. Cook for 12 minutes, until golden on top.

Reminder

Cool the filling thoroughly before filling the pastry; hot filling can soften and tear the puff pastry. Allergens: contains wheat (gluten) and egg.

İç harcı sıcakken doldurdum, tarifte soğutma uyarısı olduğunu fark etmedim ve milföy elimde yumuşayıp yırtıldı; ikinci denemede iyice soğuttum, sorun kalmadı ama ilk denemedeki sonuç için puanım bu.

Haklısınız, o soğutma adımı gerçekten kritik; iç harcı buzdolabında en az 15 dakika bekletmek milföyün yumuşamasını önler, bu notu adımın başına taşıyacağım.
