Lokshyna z syrom is a quick Ukrainian snack of thinly rolled egg noodles, boiled and tossed with butter and curd cheese. It is a filling, practical option for a late-night meal.

How to make it?

Knead the dough

Mix the flour, egg, water and salt, then knead briefly to form a firm dough.

Roll thinly and cut into strips

Roll the dough to a thickness of 3 millimeters and cut into thin strips.

Boil the noodles

Add the noodles to boiling salted water and boil for 5 minutes, until they rise to the surface.

Drain and toss with butter and curd cheese

Drain the boiled noodles and toss with the butter and curd cheese while still hot.

Reminder

Do not roll the noodle dough thicker than 3 millimeters, or it will take longer to boil and may remain raw in the center. Allergens: contains wheat (gluten), egg, milk and dairy products (butter and curd cheese).

Erişteleri kalın bıraktım, ortası çiğ kaldı, 5 dakika hiç yetmedi, benim için 9 dakika sürdü. Tereyağını da unuttum eklemeyi, kuru kaldı, hiç beğenmedim. Bir dahaki sefere süreyi ikiye katlayacağım.

Hamuru 3 milimetre kalınlığında açtım, tarifte yazan 5 dakikalık haşlama süresi tam yeterli oldu, erişteler kaynar suyun üstüne çıkınca hemen süzdüm. Süzme peyniri biraz fazla kullandım, kremamsı kıvamı çok sevdim.
