Dumplings and filled pastries
This recipe combines frozen mini manti boiled in water with garlic yogurt and a butter sauce with sucuk, a Turkish sausage. It is a convenient way to serve manti to a crowd in 15 minutes for brunch.
Boil the ready-made mini manti in salted water for 6 minutes, until all of them float to the surface.
Mix the strained yogurt with the crushed garlic and salt, then set aside until the manti is drained.
Melt the butter in a skillet. Add the thinly sliced sucuk and red pepper flakes; cook over low heat until the sucuk releases its fat.
Transfer the drained manti to a large platter. Serve with the garlic yogurt, topped with the sucuk butter sauce and dried mint.
Save time by making the yogurt sauce while the manti boils. Allergen: Contains wheat (gluten), dairy, and eggs.
