In this recipe, cooked quinoa, a grain from the Peruvian Andes, is blended with milk and flavored with cinnamon and cloves. This no-cook preparation is a spiced way to use up leftover quinoa.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Blend

8 min

Process the cooked quinoa with the milk, cinnamon, cloves and vanilla until smooth.

2

Sweeten

2 min

Add the sugar and blend again.

3

Strain

5 min

Pass the mixture through a fine sieve to remove any pieces of clove.

4

Chill and serve

20 min

Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes and serve cold.

Reminder

Do not skip the straining step: any unstrained pieces of clove will be unpleasant to bite into as you drink. Allergens: contains milk and dairy products.
