One of Naples’ simplest and oldest pizzas, Pizza Marinara has no cheese. It is made with tomato sauce, plenty of garlic, thyme, and olive oil on a thin crust. Despite its simplicity, its bold aroma makes it a classic of Italian cuisine.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Knead the dough

30 min

Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water. Add it to the flour with the salt and olive oil, then knead. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.

2

Roll out the dough

8 min

On a floured surface, roll the risen dough into a thin circle.

3

Add the sauce and toppings

5 min

Spread the tomato sauce over the rolled-out dough, then distribute the thinly sliced garlic, thyme, and olive oil evenly over the top.

4

Bake the pizza

10 min

Bake in an oven preheated to its highest setting until the edges are browned and the sauce has thickened slightly. Note: The garlic is thinly sliced and can burn quickly, so do not extend the baking time.

Reminder

Important: Slice the garlic very thinly and distribute it evenly over the dough. Thick pieces may burn in the oven and taste bitter. Allergen: Contains gluten (wheat flour).

Ölçüleri göz kararı yaptım, biraz tuzlu oldu. İlk denemede pişirme kabını yanlış seçtim, altı yapıştı.
