Seasonal fruit such as apples, pears, and grapes is diced and topped with pomegranate seeds, then chilled with a light honey and lemon juice dressing. This Azerbaijani breakfast dish highlights fresh fruit and adds color to a brunch spread.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Cut the fruit

15 min

Dice the apple and pear, halve the grapes, and remove the pomegranate seeds.

2

Make the dressing

5 min

Mix the honey with the lemon juice until smooth.

3

Toss and chill

60 min

Toss the cut fruit with the dressing and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

4

Serve with mint

5 min

Transfer the salad to a serving bowl, sprinkle with fresh mint leaves, and serve.

Reminder

Toss the apples and pears with the lemon dressing as soon as you cut them to keep them from browning. Add the mint just before serving to keep it fresh.
