Inspired by southern France, this pasta is made by warming olive oil with thyme, garlic, and red pepper flakes, then quickly tossing it with cooked pasta. It is a light, cream-free meal that comes together in minutes.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Boil the pasta

9 min

Boil the pasta in salted water according to the package directions. Reserve a ladleful of pasta water, then drain.

2

Warm the olive oil

3 min

Warm the olive oil with the garlic cloves, thyme, and red pepper flakes over low heat for 3 minutes. Do not let it boil.

3

Toss together

2 min

Add the drained pasta and reserved pasta water to the olive oil mixture and toss for 2 minutes.

4

Serve

1 min

Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and serve hot.

Reminder

Do not let the olive oil get too hot while warming it with the thyme and garlic; high heat makes the garlic bitter. Allergen: contains wheat (gluten, pasta).

Paketimde makarna 9 dakikada pişiyordu ama benim tenceremde 11 dakika sürdü, biraz daha kalın çıkmış olabilir. Sarımsağı 3 dakika yerine 2 dakikada çekince acılaşmadı, bu ayarı tuttum.
