Pizza and Turkish flatbreads
A polished Italian-style pizza topped with shrimp, mussels and squid sautéed in garlic and olive oil, then baked with mozzarella. The fresh texture of the seafood balances the mild tang of the tomato sauce.
Add the yeast to the lukewarm water. Add the olive oil, flour and salt, then knead until the dough is elastic. Cover and let it rise for 45 minutes.
Sauté the shrimp, mussels and squid in garlic-infused olive oil for 3–4 minutes, just until their color changes. Remove from the heat and set aside.
Roll the risen dough into a round and spread the strained tomatoes over it. Distribute the mozzarella and sautéed seafood evenly on top.
Bake in a preheated 250°C / 480°F oven for 12–15 minutes, until the cheese melts and the crust is golden around the edges.
Garnish the pizza with finely chopped parsley, slice it and serve hot.
Important: Lightly sauté the seafood before adding it to the pizza. If added raw, it may not cook through during the bake and could release excess liquid. Allergens: contains wheat (gluten), crustaceans, mollusks and dairy.
