Ripe peach and banana are mashed together with a fork to make a practical, no-cook first food for babies aged 6 months. The natural sweetness of the two fruits is enough on its own, so no sweetener is needed.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Peel the peach

10 min

Place the peach in boiling water for 30 seconds, then transfer to cold water to make peeling easier. Peel, remove the pit and cut into small pieces.

2

Mash

8 min

Mash the banana with a fork and put it in a bowl with the chopped peach. Drizzle with lemon juice and continue mashing with a fork until smooth.

3

Leave to rest

10 min

Refrigerate the mash for 10 minutes before serving to let the fruit flavors blend.

Reminder

Banana browns quickly when exposed to air, so serve the mash as soon as it is made or store in an airtight container. Peel the peach completely, as its fuzz may irritate a baby’s throat.
