Pastries and dough-based dishes
Stuffed bread is made by hollowing out a loaf, filling it with a mixture of ground meat, Kashar cheese, and seasonings, and baking it. The crust crisps as the inside blends with the filling, making this a hearty one-piece snack for late-night cravings.
Cut off the top of the loaf like a lid. Hollow it out, leaving a 1.5-centimeter-thick crust. Crumble the removed bread and add it to the filling.
Sauté the onion in butter until golden, then add the ground meat. Once it changes color, add the tomato and cook until the liquid evaporates. Stir in the crumbled bread, parsley, salt, and black pepper, then remove from the heat.
Once the filling has cooled slightly, spoon it into the hollowed loaf without packing it down. Sprinkle the shredded Kashar cheese over the top, replace the lid, and bake in an oven preheated to 200°C / 390°F for 12 minutes, until the crust is crisp.
Let the bread rest for 3 minutes after removing it from the oven, then slice and serve hot.
When hollowing out the loaf, leave the crust at least 1.5 centimeters thick so it does not crack in the oven. Fill it completely but do not pack the filling tightly. Allergen: Contains wheat (gluten) and dairy (Kashar cheese).
Kıymayı biraz fazla koydum ama yine de kabuk güzelce çıtırlaştı, geç saatte doyurucu bir atıştırmalık oldu.
