Inspired by Japanese tea culture, this sugar-free matcha ice cream is made by mixing matcha powder into cream whipped with erythritol, then freezing it without churning. Prepare it ahead for a crowd; it requires no cooking when you are ready to serve.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the matcha mixture

10 min

Blend the matcha powder with the milk until it forms a smooth paste.

2

Whip the cream

10 min

Whip the cream with the erythritol and vanilla extract until fluffy.

3

Fold together

5 min

Fold the matcha mixture into the whipped cream, moving from the bottom upwards.

4

Freeze

25 min

Transfer the mixture to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours.

Reminder

To prevent lumps, first blend the matcha powder with a little liquid until smooth before adding it to the cream. Allergen: contains milk and dairy products (cream).

4 saat yerine bir gece boyunca dondurdum, kıvamı kaşıkla almak için çok daha idealdi. Matcha tozunu ezerken de biraz daha fazla süt kullanınca topaklanma tamamen ortadan kalktı.
