Knead the dough
12 minKnead the flour with the lukewarm water and dried yeast until you have a soft dough.
Yeasted dough is rolled thin, filled with drained tuna, tomatoes and onion, then baked. Made without kashar cheese, this pide offers an option suitable for a pescatarian diet.
Knead the flour with the lukewarm water and dried yeast until you have a soft dough.
Cover the dough and leave to rise for 25 minutes.
Mix the drained tuna with the chopped tomatoes, onion and olive oil.
Roll the dough into a boat shape, fold the edges in and spread the filling down the center.
Bake in an oven preheated to 220°C / 430°F for 20 minutes, until the edges are golden.
Drain the tuna thoroughly; excess liquid can make the dough wet and prevent it from cooking through. Allergens: contains gluten (flour) and fish (tuna).
