Yayla pasta is a simple yet hearty Anatolian pasta dish made with cooked pasta, strained yogurt, and a butter sauce with red pepper flakes. The cool garlic yogurt balances the warmth of the hot butter.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Cook the pasta

12 min

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water according to the package directions, then drain.

2

Prepare the yogurt sauce

5 min

Mix the strained yogurt with the crushed garlic and salt, then pour it over the cooked pasta.

3

Make the butter sauce

5 min

Melt the butter in a small pan. Once it begins to foam, add the red pepper flakes and immediately remove from the heat.

4

Serve

2 min

Drizzle the hot butter sauce over the yogurt pasta and serve immediately.

Reminder

Add the red pepper flakes before the butter burns, or the sauce may taste bitter. Allergens: contains gluten (pasta) and dairy (yogurt and butter).

Tereyağını gözümü ayırdığım iki dakikada yaktım, pul biberi ekleyince tava dumanla doldu ve sos acımsı bir tat aldı. Bütün tabağa yayılınca yemek yenilir olmaktan çıktı, baştan yapmam gerekti.
