A fish with a lightly caramelized exterior and juicy interior, in which salmon fillet is baked in a honey, mustard, and lemon marinade. Easy to prepare, this dish makes an elegant dinner table with a green salad or roasted vegetables.
Whisk together the honey, mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, crushed garlic, salt and black pepper in a bowl.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a tray lined with parchment paper and brush half the marinade over them.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees until the salmon flakes easily when pressed with a fork. Careful: Do not overcook, salmon dries out quickly.
Brush the remaining marinade over the salmon straight out of the oven and serve sprinkled with chopped dill.
Important: Don't overcook the salmon; it's ready when the flesh flakes easily under a fork's pressure — waiting until it's dry will toughen the fish. Because the honey glaze contains sugar, it browns quickly over high heat, so cover it with foil at the last minute if needed. Contains fish.
Apply half of the marinade before cooking and brush on the remaining half right after it comes out of the oven; the fresh aroma of the raw marinade stands out more vividly on the cooked fish.
