Verrine is a French presentation style in which yoghurt, fruit and granola are layered in a clear glass jar, requiring no cooking at all. Keeping each layer cold and thick as it goes in is what keeps the stripes looking neat.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the yoghurt

15 min

Mix the strained yoghurt with the honey and chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

2

Prepare the fruit

8 min

Thinly slice the strawberry and kiwi and pat dry with paper towel.

3

Layer

7 min

Layer granola at the bottom of the clear jars, followed by yoghurt, then the fruit slices; repeat the sequence once more.

4

Serve

5 min

Serve the jars right away, or cover and hold in the refrigerator for up to 30 minutes.

Reminder

Pat the fruit dry with paper towel before layering it, otherwise its juice will bleed into the yoghurt layer and blur the stripes. Allergens: contains milk and dairy.
