Armenian cuisine's thin-crusted lahmajo gets a sweet-sour edge here from pomegranate molasses. Rolling the dough as thin as filo pastry is essential for a crisp base in the oven.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Leaven the dough

45 min

Knead the flour, water, fresh yeast and salt into a smooth dough and let rise for 45 minutes.

2

Prepare the topping

15 min

Mix the ground beef, grated tomato, chopped red pepper, onion, parsley, pomegranate molasses, red pepper flakes and olive oil into a topping.

3

Roll out the dough

20 min

Divide the risen dough into six pieces and roll each as thin as filo pastry.

4

Bake

10 min

Spread the topping in a thin layer over the dough and bake in a preheated oven for 10 minutes.

Reminder

Roll the dough as thin as filo; leaving it thick keeps the centre doughy and undercooked. Allergens: contains wheat (gluten).

Hamuru tarifteki gibi tam kağıt inceliğinde açtım, altı adedin hepsi 250 derecede tam 10 dakikada kenarları çıtır ortası yumuşak çıktı, nar ekşisinin ekşiliği harca çok yakıştı.
