Dessert
Cevizli sucuk (walnut sausage) is a sweet product made by repeatedly dipping walnuts strung on a thread into grape must thickened with starch, then drying them. It gets its name from its sausage-like shape and has nothing to do with fermented meat sausage. It is known as churchkhela in the Caucasus.
Where It's Used
“Dip the walnut sucuk into the dark grape must several times and hang it to dry.”
