Sac manti is a quick dumpling dish made by rolling dough thick, filling and folding it, then cooking it on a hot griddle. Unlike traditional boiling, this technique avoids the work of cutting and sealing dozens of small dumplings.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the dough

10 min

Knead the flour, egg, water, and salt into a firm dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

2

Fill and fold

15 min

Mix the ground meat with the grated onion, Turkish red pepper flakes, and salt. Roll the dough out thick and cut it into squares. Place some filling in the center of each, fold into a triangle, and press the edges closed.

3

Cook on the griddle

20 min

Cook the dumplings on a griddle over medium heat for 4 minutes per side, turning them until the filling is thoroughly cooked.

4

Add the sauce and serve

5 min

Mix the yogurt with the crushed garlic and spoon it over the dumplings. Drizzle with melted butter and serve immediately.

Reminder

Keep the griddle over medium heat; if it is too hot, the outside may burn while the inside stays raw. Press the folded edges firmly to keep the filling from leaking during cooking. Allergen information: Contains wheat (gluten) and dairy (yogurt).

Sacı tarifte önerilen orta ateşte tuttum ama mantılar dört dakikada tam pişmedi, altı dakikaya çıkarmam gerekti; kalın döküm bir sac kullanınca süre gerçekten değişiyor mu?
