Leftover baked salmon from the previous evening is mixed with spinach and lemon zest, wrapped in thin pastry sheets, and baked. Inspired by Ireland’s tradition of making use of salmon, these parcels turn leftover fish into a new dish.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the filling

10 min

Flake the leftover cooked salmon with a fork. Mix it in a bowl with the spinach, dill, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper.

2

Brush the pastry sheets with oil

8 min

Lightly brush each pastry sheet with olive oil and stack two sheets on top of each other.

3

Wrap and arrange on a baking sheet

12 min

Place the salmon filling along the edge of the pastry layers and roll them tightly. Arrange the parcels seam-side down on a greased baking sheet.

4

Bake

25 min

Bake in an oven preheated to 190°C / 375°F for 25 minutes, until the surfaces are golden.

Reminder

Work quickly while wrapping the pastry sheets; pastry left out in the open dries and becomes brittle. Contains allergens: fish (salmon) and wheat/gluten (pastry sheets).

Tarifte 25 dakika fırınlama yazıyor ama benim fırınım altını çabuk aldığı için 20 dakikada yüzeyi fazla koyulaştı, süreyi kısaltmak mı daha doğru olur yoksa tepsiyi üst rafa mı almalıyım? Yufka katları yine de güzel çıtırlaştı.
