Cook the Sucuk
3 minCook the sucuk slices in a dry skillet for 3 minutes, until they release their fat.
This wrap is made by rolling sucuk (Turkish cured sausage) and Kashar cheese, a Turkish semi-hard cheese, in thin lavash bread and warming it in a skillet for a few minutes. It is a quick snack for gatherings. With no dough to roll or proof, it is also an easy option between breakfast and a late-night snack.
Cook the sucuk slices in a dry skillet for 3 minutes, until they release their fat.
Divide the shredded Kashar cheese and cooked sucuk slices among the lavash breads, then roll them tightly.
Melt the butter in a skillet. Warm the wraps for 5 minutes, turning them until lightly browned on all sides.
Roll the lavash tightly, but do not pull so hard that it tears; a loose wrap may open in the skillet and spill its filling. Allergens: contains gluten (lavash) and dairy (Kashar cheese).
