This puree is made by quickly pressure-cooking carrots, potatoes, and zucchini with red lentils. Divide it in two to make an unsalted baby puree and an olive-oil version for a family breakfast. Preparing two different textures in one cooking session takes care.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the vegetables

10 min

Dice the carrot, potato, zucchini, and onion.

2

Pressure-Cook the Ingredients

12 min

Put the vegetables, lentils, and water in the pressure cooker and close the lid. Once it reaches pressure, cook for 12 minutes.

3

Puree the Mixture

8 min

Release the pressure, then blend the mixture until smooth.

4

Divide into Two Portions

5 min

Set aside the baby’s portion without salt. Stir olive oil into the remaining portion.

Reminder

Do not add salt or olive oil until after setting aside the baby’s portion; salt must never be included when preparing baby food.

Bebeğim ilk kaşıkta hiç yüzünü buruşturmadı, aile porsiyonunu da kahvaltıda kendim yedim, dört kişiye rahat yetti.
