Marinate the fish
5 minRub the fish fillets with the lemon juice, crushed garlic, cumin, paprika, olive oil and salt.
A light fish dish from Lebanese cooking, this fillet is marinated in lemon and garlic and cooked quickly in the airfryer. Its low-carb, low-calorie profile also makes it easy to pack into a lunchbox.
Rub the fish fillets with the lemon juice, crushed garlic, cumin, paprika, olive oil and salt.
Let the fillets marinate in the fridge for fifteen minutes.
Arrange the fillets in the airfryer basket and cook at 190°C for twelve minutes. If you do not have an airfryer, cook the same fillets in a 200°C oven for eighteen minutes.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Do not marinate the fish for too long; the lemon's acidity can over-soften the flesh and cause it to fall apart. Allergens: contains fish.
If you cannot find sea bass or bream, other white fish like whiting work just as well — just adjust the cooking time to the thickness.
