Walnut grape molasses sauce is a quick breakfast syrup made by mixing grape molasses and tahini with chopped walnuts. Needing no cooking at all, it can be spread on bread and on the table within minutes.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Shake the tahini

1 min

Shake the tahini well in its container to recombine the oil.

2

Combine

3 min

Whisk the grape molasses and tahini together in a bowl until smooth.

3

Serve

1 min

Scatter the chopped walnuts over the top and stir just before serving.

Reminder

Shake the tahini well before mixing it with the molasses, or separated oil will make the sauce clumpy. Add the walnuts just before serving, or they will absorb moisture and soften. Allergens: contains sesame/tahini, tree nuts (walnut).

Editor's Note Editörün Notu

Using two-thirds molasses instead of equal parts makes the sauce runnier and easier to spread on bread.

Sosu bir gün önceden hazırlayıp buzdolabında saklasam ertesi sabah hâlâ akışkan kalır mı, yoksa 4 kişilik porsiyonu servisten önce yeniden mi karıştırmam gerekir, yoksa cevizi de o gün mü eklemeliyim?

Buzdolabında bekleyince biraz koyulaşır ama oda sıcaklığına gelip birkaç kez karıştırınca eski akışkanlığına döner, ekstra malzemeye gerek kalmaz.
