Made by cooking beef in a pressure cooker until it turns tender enough to shred with a fork, this bocadillo is a hearty example of Spanish sandwich culture. Prepared with little added fat, it stays low in calories and contains no nuts.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Sear the beef

5 min

Sear the beef chunks in olive oil in the pressure cooker over high heat for 5 minutes.

2

Add the aromatics

3 min

Add the garlic and onion and cook for 3 minutes, then stir in the tomato sauce, salt and black pepper.

3

Pressure-cook

20 min

Add a little water, close the pressure cooker lid, and cook for 20 minutes once it reaches pressure.

4

Shred and stuff

7 min

Once the pressure has released naturally, shred the beef with two forks and stuff it into the baguettes to serve.

Reminder

Never force the pressure cooker open; wait for the steam to release on its own. Allergens: contains wheat (gluten).

Misafirlerime akşam yemeğinde yaptım, yirmi dakikada düdüklüden çıkması işime çok yaradı; herkes ekmeğini ikinci kez doldurdu.

Düdüklüde yirmi dakikada et pamuk gibi yumuşadı, çatalla dağılırken hiç zorlanmadım; ailece çok beğendik.
