A practical jam that easily thickens with apples' natural pectin, enriched with cinnamon's warm scent. With its soft texture and balanced sweetness, it's a breakfast essential.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the apples

15 min

Wash and grate the apples, then transfer them with the sugar into a large pot.

2

Cook with sugar

30 min

Boil the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly; cook until the apples soften and the syrup thickens.

3

Thicken with spices

5 min

Add the cinnamon and lemon juice and boil for another five minutes. Important: if a drop on a plate leaves a trace, the consistency is ready.

4

Jar it

5 min

Fill sterilized jars with the boiling jam and seal, turn upside down to cool, and store in a cool, dark place.

Reminder

Important: Stir continuously while the grated apples cook to prevent them from sticking to the bottom of the pot. Contains no flour, milk, or egg; it is plant-based and gluten-free. Fill sterilized jars with the boiling jam and store in a cool place.

Editor's Note Editörün Notu

If you grate the apples without peeling them, the jam sets more easily from the natural pectin; the peel softens during cooking and becomes unnoticeable.
