Made without frying, these meatballs come from kneading ground beef with cooked spinach and grated onion before baking them on a tray. With no nuts in the mix, they can be safely served to anyone with a nut allergy.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the meatball mix

10 min

Knead the ground beef thoroughly with the cooked spinach, grated onion, egg, breadcrumbs, salt and black pepper.

2

Shape and arrange

5 min

Shape the mix into flat meatballs on a baking-paper-lined tray, spacing them apart, and sprinkle grated kaşar cheese on top.

3

Bake

30 min

Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C until the tops of the meatballs turn golden.

4

Serve

2 min

Serve the meatballs hot straight from the oven.

Reminder

Leave space between the meatballs on the tray; meatballs packed too close together will not get even heat and some may stay undercooked. Allergens: contains gluten (breadcrumbs), egg and milk (kaşar cheese).

Köfteleri fırına dizerken aralarını fazla sıkıştırmışım, ısı her tarafa eşit ulaşmayınca bazıları kenarlardan fazla kızarırken ortadakiler biraz solgun kaldı. Bir dahakine tepsiye daha aralıklı dizip ortadakileri de kontrol edeceğim.
