Prepare the poaching liquid

Poached salmon, prepared by gently simmering salmon fillet in a small amount of water over low heat, is a light and low-fat recipe served with a dill yogurt sauce. It's also a suitable main dish option for those on a diet.
Add enough water to a wide pan to cover the salmon, along with lemon slices, bay leaf and salt; heat gently.
Once the water begins to simmer just below a boil, add the salmon fillets and poach covered over low heat.
Mix strained yogurt, dill, crushed garlic, lemon juice and salt to prepare the sauce.
Remove the poached salmon from the water and drain, then serve with the dill yogurt sauce.
Important: The poaching liquid shouldn't boil, it should barely tremble below a light simmer; if it boils, the fish's texture will toughen. Allergen: contains fish and milk/dairy products (yogurt).
If you add a few lemon slices and bay leaves to the poaching liquid, a light aroma passes into the fish.
