A popular Korean cuisine recipe where thinly sliced chicken is marinated with soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and pear juice and quickly sautéed in a pan. With its sweet-savory balance, it's suitable for everyday dinners alongside steamed rice.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the marinade

10 min

Mix soy sauce, pear juice, garlic, sesame oil, and sugar, then combine with the thinly sliced chicken.

2

Let it rest

30 min

Rest the marinated chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, ideally a few hours.

3

Sauté in the pan

10 min

Heat the pan with oil over medium heat and add the marinated chicken, stir-cooking until the sauce thickens and the chicken is slightly caramelized. Caution: high-sugar marinade can burn quickly, so cook over medium heat.

4

Serve

2 min

Sprinkle with sesame seeds and finely chopped spring onion and serve.

Reminder

Important: apply the marinade for at least 30 minutes, preferably a few hours; pear juice tenderizes the meat and allows the flavor to penetrate. Note: a marinade with a high sugar content caramelizes and can burn quickly in the pan, cook over medium heat. Allergen: contains soy sauce (gluten) and sesame.

Editor's Note Editörün Notu

If you can't find fresh pear for the marinade, apple juice gives a similar sweetness and tenderizing effect.

Ben bu kadar uzun pişirmenin gerekli olduğunu düşünmüyorum, daha kısada da oluyor. Herkes bayıldı diyor ama bende beklediğim tat çıkmadı.
