Sandwiches, burgers, and wraps
This filling late-night snack is made by warming leftover kavurma (Turkish cooked meat), spicing it with plenty of Turkish red pepper flakes, and wrapping it in thin lavash bread with garlic yogurt sauce. It is also a handy way to use up leftover kavurma.
Put the kavurma in a pan and warm it with the onion and Turkish red pepper flakes, sautéing for 8 minutes.
Mix the strained yogurt with the crushed garlic and set aside.
Briefly warm the lavash, spread the garlic yogurt sauce over it, add the kavurma, and roll it up tightly.
Warm the lavash briefly just before rolling; cold lavash can crack as you roll it. Adjust the amount of Turkish red pepper flakes to taste. Allergens: contains wheat (gluten) and dairy.
