Salmon cubes are marinated in a low-sugar teriyaki glaze with chili paste and cooked quickly in the airfryer. Low in carbs and packed with heat, this Japanese-style bite is a practical choice for a late-night snack or a party spread.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Marinate

10 min

Cube the salmon and toss it with the soy sauce, chili paste, garlic, ginger and sesame oil.

2

Rest

15 min

Let it marinate in the fridge for 15 minutes; leaving it longer can make the soy sauce turn the fish too salty.

3

Cook in the airfryer

10 min

Heat the airfryer to 200°C, arrange the salmon cubes in a single layer in the basket and cook for 10 minutes, turning once halfway. If you don't have an airfryer, you can bake them in a preheated oven at the same temperature for 18-20 minutes.

4

Serve

5 min

Garnish the cooked salmon with sesame seeds and spring onion and serve hot.

Reminder

Don't overcrowd the airfryer basket — cooking in overlapping layers steams the salmon instead of crisping it. Allergens: contains soy and sesame.
