Made with egg whites, this light omelette is ideal for anyone wanting a filling breakfast or late-night snack without the extra cholesterol. The fibrous texture of spinach and the lightness of olive oil make it a heart-healthy meal.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Cook the spinach

3 min

Sauté the spinach leaves in olive oil for 3 minutes until wilted.

2

Whisk the egg whites

3 min

Whisk the egg white lightly with salt and black pepper.

3

Cook

6 min

Pour the whisked mixture over the spinach and cook over low heat, covered, for 6 minutes.

4

Serve

1 min

Fold the omelette in half and serve hot.

Reminder

Leftover egg whites can be portioned into small containers and frozen, then thawed as needed; only freeze them raw, since a cooked omelette turns watery once frozen. Allergens: contains egg.

Yumurta akını 6 dakika yerine 4 dakikada pişirdim çünkü ocağım güçlüydü, biraz daha fazla beklesem dışı kurumaya başlayacaktı. Ispanağı eklerken suyunu iyice süzmemiştim, tabakta biraz sulu kaldı.
