A light dessert for barbecue tables, grilled nectarine is made by halving the fruit and grilling it over high heat until lightly caramelized, then finishing with honey and cinnamon. Free of nuts, it's a practical choice on hot summer evenings.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the nectarines

5 min

Wash the nectarines, halve them and remove the pits.

2

Grill

10 min

Grill the nectarine halves cut-side down for 5 minutes, then flip and grill for 5 more minutes.

3

Finish with honey

5 min

Drizzle the warm nectarines with honey, sprinkle with cinnamon and serve right away.

Reminder

Place the nectarines cut-side down on the grill, or the sugars won't caramelize and you won't get grill marks.

Editor's Note Editörün Notu

You can also use peaches instead of nectarines; since their skin is a little thinner, just shorten the grilling time by 1-2 minutes.

İlk 5 dakikada tarifte dediği gibi güzel ızgara çizgileri oluştu, ama benim nektarinlerim biraz sertti ve ortası tam yumuşamadı. Bir dahaki sefere daha olgun meyve seçeceğim.
