This plate follows the English tradition of a lightly sweet finish to breakfast: peach halves are brushed with honey and caramelised on the grill, then topped with fresh blackberries and cream cheese. It relies purely on the fruit's own sweetness, with no other sweetener added.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the peaches

5 min

Brush the cut side of the peach halves with honey and cinnamon, then let them sit for a few minutes.

2

Caramelise on the grill

5 min

Place the peaches cut-side down on a hot grill and cook for 3-4 minutes, until dark grill marks appear.

3

Grill the other side

3 min

Flip the peaches and grill the skin side for another 3 minutes until softened, then take them off the grill.

4

Plate and serve

5 min

Arrange the grilled peaches on a plate, spoon a little cream cheese into the centre of each, and garnish with fresh blackberries and mint leaves before serving.

Reminder

Make sure the grill is properly hot before adding the peaches; a cool grill sticks to the fruit and tears the skin. Allergens: contains milk and dairy.

Izgaram yeterince ısınmadan şeftalileri koymuşum, kesik yüzeyleri yapışıp koparken biraz dağıldı. Isıyı iyice yükseltip iki dakika daha bekleyince ikinci turda hiç sorun kalmadı, kenarları güzelce karamelize oldu.
