Odd bits of kashar, white cheese and curd cheese left in the fridge are melted together in one pan and scrambled with eggs. Since nothing but the cheese itself carries any starch, it makes a low-carb, diabetic-friendly lunch.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Cook the spring onion

2 min

Melt the butter in a pan, add the spring onion and cook for 2 minutes.

2

Add the cheeses

3 min

Add the cubed kashar, crumbled white cheese and curd cheese to the pan and heat for 3 minutes until the kashar just begins to melt.

3

Scramble the eggs

4 min

Crack the eggs into the pan with the black pepper and, over low heat, scramble for 4 minutes until fully blended with the cheese.

Reminder

Cut the cheeses into small cubes; large pieces melt unevenly in the pan and clump together. White cheese is already salty, so taste before adding any extra salt. Allergens: contains egg and milk/dairy (kashar, white cheese, curd cheese).
