A herbal tea known for its tangy flavor, made by steeping dried rosehip fruit in boiling water. Drunk piping hot in winter, this tea is a natural choice known for its vitamin C content.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Bring the water to a boil

5 min

Bring the water to a boil in a pot.

2

Add the rosehip and steep

10 min

Remove the boiling water from the heat, add the rosehips, cover, and let it steep for 10 minutes.

3

Strain and serve

2 min

Strain the tea through a fine sieve, divide among cups, and serve hot with honey if desired.

Reminder

Important: Prefer steeping the rosehip rather than boiling it for long, otherwise it can turn bitter. Note: Since the fine hairs inside the rosehip can irritate the throat, using a ready-made tea bag or a fine strainer is recommended.

Editor's Note Editörün Notu

If honey is added once the tea has cooled slightly, both its flavor and its benefits are better preserved.
