A light and refreshing frozen yogurt made by blending strained yogurt with frozen fruits. A healthy alternative to ice cream, this cold dessert is made with the fruit's natural sweetness and little sugar.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Blend

6 min

Put the strained yogurt, frozen fruit, honey and lemon juice in a blender. Blend, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides, until you get a smooth, creamy consistency.

2

Serve or freeze

5 min

You can serve the mixture immediately as soft-serve, or transfer it to a container with a lid and freeze for a few hours for a scoopable consistency. If frozen, take it out a few minutes before serving.

Reminder

Important: Contains dairy. For a creamy texture, use frozen fruit and well-strained yogurt — watery yogurt will form ice crystals. You can serve it soft right away, or freeze it for a few hours for a scoopable texture.

Editor's Note Editörün Notu

Adjust the honey to the fruit's sweetness; it may not be needed at all with ripe fruit. Freezing the mixture in a container while whisking it periodically gives a smoother texture.
