Cheese-stuffed meatball skewers are made by hiding a cube of kashar cheese inside mini meatballs, threading them onto wooden skewers and grilling them. With melted cheese oozing out at the first bite, these are a fun late-night treat kids love.
Knead the ground beef with the grated onion, crushed garlic, salt, black pepper, cumin and finely chopped parsley into a smooth mixture.
Take small portions of the mixture, tuck a cube of kashar inside and roll into balls, then thread them onto pre-soaked wooden skewers, leaving a gap between each one.
Cook the skewers on the grill, turning occasionally, until the outside browns and the kashar melts inside.
Leave space between the meatballs on the skewers; if they touch, the melted kashar tends to ooze out. Do not forget to soak the wooden skewers in water for at least 20 minutes, or they may catch fire on the grill. Allergens: contains dairy (kashar cheese).
If the children are bothered by the grill smoke, you can cook the skewers in a pan instead; keep the heat at medium and turn the skewers often in that case.
Admin DadaGastro · verified in test kitchenŞişleri 12 dakika yerine 18 dakika ızgarada bıraktım, dışı biraz fazla kurudu ama içindeki kaşar güzel eridi. Çocuklar dışının sert olmasından pek hoşlanmadı, bir dahaki sefere süreyi kısaltacağım.
