This snack is made by filling puff pastry sheets with a kashkaval and white cheese mix and baking them into small bites. The crisp, layered texture makes for a plate that disappears quickly at gatherings and tea time.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Make the filling

5 min

Mix the kashkaval, white cheese and parsley together.

2

Cut and fill the pastry

10 min

Cut the puff pastry sheets into small squares, place a spoonful of filling on each, and fold.

3

Brush with egg and bake

20 min

Brush the bites with beaten egg and sesame seeds and bake in an oven preheated to 190°C for twenty minutes, until golden.

Reminder

Do not leave the puff pastry sheets at room temperature too long, or they soften and lose their layers. Allergens: contains gluten (pastry), dairy (kashkaval, white cheese) and egg.

Editor's Note Editörün Notu

You can also use only white cheese instead of kashkaval; just reduce the salt slightly.
