Decorated with colourful vegetables, these mini whole-grain pizzas make an eye-catching snack for children's birthday parties. Made with low-calorie ingredients, this recipe stands out for both its playful look and balanced content.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the bases

5 min

Spread a spoonful of tomato sauce on each small flatbread base and scatter the grated kashar cheese evenly on top.

2

Create the vegetable faces

12 min

Shape a face on each pizza using corn kernels for eyes, olive slices for a mouth, red pepper strips for eyebrows, and broccoli florets for hair.

3

Bake

10 min

Arrange the pizzas on a baking tray and bake in an oven preheated to 200°C for ten minutes, until the cheese melts and the edges turn lightly golden.

4

Cool and serve

3 min

Let the pizzas cool for three minutes after baking, then serve warm.

Reminder

Arrange the vegetable faces right before baking, or they may release moisture and make the base soggy. Allergens: contains gluten (base) and dairy (kashar cheese).

Editor's Note Editörün Notu

If you make these with your child, the face-decorating step becomes the most fun part; let each child design the face on their own base.
