Chicken legs marinated with cumin, red pepper and garlic are roasted, then tucked into bread with green aji sauce to make these Peruvian street-style sandwiches for a party spread.

How to make it?

Marinate

30 min

Mix the chicken legs with the cumin, Turkish red pepper flakes, crushed garlic and lemon juice. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Roast

40 min

Cook the chicken legs in an oven preheated to 200°C / 390°F for 40 minutes.

Make the sauce

10 min

Blend the green pepper, then mix with garlic and lemon juice to make the aji sauce.

Assemble the sandwiches

15 min

Remove the cooked chicken from the bones and fill the bread with it. Drizzle with aji sauce and serve.

Reminder

Keep the chicken in the fridge while it marinates; do not leave it at room temperature. Allergens: contains gluten (bread).

Parti için harika bir seçenekti, tavuk yumuşacık ve baharatlı çıkmış. Aji sosunun ferahlığı sandviçe tam denge kattı.

Tavuk butlarını ilk kez böyle marine ettim, kimyon ve pul biberin kokusu fırından taşınca herkes mutfağa toplandı. Aji sosunu kendim hazırlamak biraz zaman aldı ama değdi.
